Privacy policy

This policy describes what this site actually does today, not what it might do one day.

1. Person responsible for personal information

Cavalerie Conseil Inc., Canada. For any question about your personal information, write to frederic@cavalerie.ca. The person responsible for the protection of personal information is the founder, Frédéric Tremblay-Naud.

2. What this site does not do

This site sets no cookies. It embeds no audience measurement tool, no advertising pixel, no remote font, no map, no external video and no social network button. No request is made to another domain when a page loads.

It hosts no form: there is no field to fill in, no data entered online and no mailing list. The only way to send me information is to write to me yourself.

You can check this: open your browser network tab and reload this page. Every request points to this domain.

3. Information you send me

The site collects information only if you send it yourself, by email. The "Write to me" button opens your email client with a prefilled message that you send yourself, after reading it over. Nothing is transmitted without your action.

Whatever you choose to include in that email is used only to answer you and to prepare a possible conversation.

4. Storage in your browser

This site writes nothing to your browser: no cookie, no stored preference, no local identifier. Closing the tab leaves no trace of your visit on your device, beyond the history and cache managed by the browser itself.

5. Retention and disclosure

Emails you send me are kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted. No personal information is sold, rented or disclosed to a third party for marketing purposes.

Information relating to an engagement is covered by a separate agreement, which states processing locations and retention periods.

6. Your rights

Under the personal information protection legislation that applies to your situation, you may request access to the personal information I hold about you, its correction, or its deletion. Write to frederic@cavalerie.ca: I answer within the time limits set by law.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you may contact the competent personal information protection authority.
